Commemorative postage stamp issued on the 50th birth anniversary of Joy
The Postal Department of Bangladesh has issued a commemorative postage stamp on the 50th birth anniversary of Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the architect of Digital Bangladesh.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the stamp on Tuesday morning. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar was virtually connected to the event.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of the day, the telecom minister wrote in his birthday message to Sajeeb Wazed, the grandson of Bangabandhu and ICT adviser to the Prime Minister, referring to him as the pride of youth and the dreamer of digital Bangladesh.
